As the daffodils bloom and the chocolate eggs fill the shelves, it's clear that Easter is just around the corner. And with it comes the first Bank Holiday of the year, a time for family, fun, and, of course, a bit of indulgence. If you're local to Harrow, you're in for a treat this year with a host of Easter events that promise to keep the whole family entertained.
Kick-starting the Easter festivities on 23rd and 24th March is an enchanting crafting event at the Parklife Cafe. From storytelling and rock painting to creating a suncatcher window display, greeting card making, and the quintessential Easter egg hunt, there's something to spark every child's imagination. And the best part? This event is free for both children and adults!
For the little dancers in your family, the Kids Easter Disco at Big Shots Golf Club on 28th March is a must-visit. Between 8pm and 10pm, children of all ages can dance the night away, play games, and enjoy some Easter treats. With admission ranging from £5 to £10, it's an affordable evening of fun that might even tire them out before bedtime!
From Good Friday to 14th April, Headstone Manor Museum invites all eagle-eyed children to join their Gnome Trail. Hidden in and around the museum are a host of gnomes, waiting to be discovered. This free event runs throughout the museum's normal opening hours, offering a fun and educational day out.
On 30th March, Pinner Memorial Park hosts the Easter Bunny Trail. Mummy bunny has lost her babies somewhere in the park, and it's up to your little detectives to find them. Running between 11am and 3pm, this event costs just £4 per child.
And let's not forget the adults! The Spice Rack Lounge in Stanmore is holding an Easter Eggstravaganza on 31st March. From 8pm to 2am, over 18s can enjoy drinks, DJs, and more. With early bird tickets starting at £6, it's a budget-friendly night out.
So, whether you're a craft enthusiast, a disco diva, a keen explorer, or a party animal, Harrow has something for you this Easter. Enjoy the holiday, and don't forget to save some chocolate for us!
