Pinner Fair: a name that resonates with history, community, and a whole lot of fun! This year, thousands flocked to Bridge Street in Pinner, making it one of the biggest and best events yet. From thrilling rides to mouth-watering treats, the fair had something for everyone.
The Tagada ride was a massive hit with older kids, while younger children delighted in the smaller, more stomach-friendly attractions. And let’s not forget the food! Bill’s Diner was a crowd favourite, serving up a range of delicious options that kept families coming back for more. Candyfloss, fast food, teddy bears, and light sabers—there was no shortage of fun items to buy and enjoy.
Held every May, Pinner Fair boasts a history dating back to the Middle Ages. It’s a beloved tradition that draws attendees from near and far, especially during the May half term. The fair did take a break during the Second World War but made a triumphant return in 1946. Apart from a brief pause in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, it has been a yearly highlight ever since.
One of the best parts of attending Pinner Fair is the chance to see familiar faces. Whether it’s old school friends or current work colleagues, the fair provides a wonderful opportunity to catch up with people you know.
This year, the weather was on our side with sunny skies making it a perfect day for families and friends to enjoy the fair. The vibrant atmosphere, combined with the historic charm of Pinner Fair, made for an unforgettable experience.
So, mark your calendars for next May! Whether you’re a local or visiting from afar, Pinner Fair promises a day filled with joy, community spirit, and timeless fun.
